Address Book is a centralized directory within the platform that saves your frequent pickup and delivery locations along with their specific preferences (operating hours, accessorials, etc).

Who can see the addresses I save?

By default, saved addresses are visible to your entire organization to ensure everyone is shipping with the same accurate information.

 

How do I add a new address to my Address Book?

After you complete a shipment, you’ll be prompted to save the pickup or delivery location to your Address Book. From there, you can either save all changes to quickly add the address or review the details before saving. This allows you to confirm or update information before it’s stored for future use.

 

What happens when I select an address from my Address Book?

When you select a pickup or delivery location from your Address Book while quoting, all saved details—like operating hours, contact information, and accessorials—automatically fill in. From there, you only need to enter the cargo details to complete your shipment.

 

How do I edit an existing address in my Address Book?

On the quoting page of the dashboard, click the Address Book icon, then scroll to the address you want to update and select the edit (pencil) icon.

 

How does this help me avoid re-bills?

By saving your frequent addresses with the right accessorials—like liftgate or residential delivery—your quotes reflect accurate shipment requirements from the start, helping prevent carrier adjustments and re-bills later.
