Transit Day

In freight, a transit day is the equivalent of one business day. For our National LTL Partner Carriers, transit days begin one day after a shipment is picked up, so the pick-up date is not a transit day. Delivery, however, is included as a transit day. Be sure to factor this in when choosing a shipping speed.

Remember all transit days on quotes are estimated and do not include the pickup day as a part of that estimate.
