# How does same-day delivery work?

## Learn how you can get your freight picked up and delivered in the same day.

 

### Mothership's same-day guarantee

We love being the fastest freight carrier around. If you are placing a shipment in one of our same-day local [zones](https://www.mothership.com/coverage), you can get your freight picked up and delivered in a single day. To be eligible for our same-day option you must allow a 4-hour window between ready for pickup time and both origin and destination closing times. For example, if your warehouse closes at 5 pm and the warehouse you are delivering to closes at 6 pm, your freight must be ready for pickup at 12 pm or earlier.

### How to book same-day freight shipping

Your freight ready-time must be at or before 12 pm, and allow a 4-hour window between ready for pick-up time and both origin and destination closing times.
