How do I update my location?
Your location must be known to remain eligible for dispatches.
Mothership's automated dispatch relies on your precise location in order to offer you the best loads and provide in-app navigation. To update your location, you must have your location settings enabled on your phone, we'll show you how below.
Location requirements to receive offers
Mothership uses your location to automatically check that these requirements are met before sending you offers. Without location services enabled, you will not receive offers.
-
Carrier must be active in the last 30 days (New carriers are exempt from this check)
-
Carrier location must be less than 100 mi of straight-line distance to a shipment's pick-up location
-
Valid collected location within last 12 hours
How to enable location services
To ensure the location requirements for receiving offers are met, choose “Always Allow” or “Allow all the time” depending on your smartphone model.
Note: If you choose to only allow location services “While using the app”, you will not receive constant dispatches, as the feature would only work when you have your app open and in use.
Follow the in-app prompt to enable your location services.
